Gareth is Shortlisted for The Entrepreneur Wales Awards
The Liberty team are proud to announce Gareth Morgan, our founder and MD, has been shortlisted for two Entrepreneur Wales Awards! Find out all about the awards and why he’s made the prestigious list below:
What Are The Entrepreneur Wales Awards?
The Entrepreneur Wales Awards are an acknowledgment and celebration of all the hard work business leaders in Wales do. The awards look at the inspiring stories of Welsh entrepreneurs and business owners, honouring them with awards whilst hopefully encouraging others to start a career and succeed in local business too.
Economy Minister, Edwina Hart said:
“Entrepreneurs are vital for creating growth and jobs in the Welsh economy. I am always impressed by the talented and hardworking entrepreneurs we have in Wales and these awards recognise and celebrate the role they play. The Welsh Government is a pro-business government and supports our entrepreneurs to create a more prosperous Wales.”
The Entrepreneur Wales Awards are produced by the organiser of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, who also publish Fresh Business Thinking. The successful businesses are selected by a team of 19 esteemed judges, including Hayley Parsons OBE, founder and former CEO of Gocompare.com, Welsh rugby legend, Shane Williams, and Dave Bexon, who is Group Sales and Marketing Director for Redrow.

Why Was Gareth Shortlisted?
Liberty Marketing’s founder and MD, Gareth Morgan, has been shortlisted for two awards: The Accelerated Growth Business Entrepreneur of the Year and the Small Business Awards, which is sponsored by Business Wales and the Welsh Government.The Accelerated Growth award is given to an individual who has demonstrated significant growth throughout the first 5 years of trading. The business will be able to recognise opportunities and achieve objectives, whereas the entrepreneurial owner should show how they have worked with their strengths and weaknesses to create a successful and growing business, which utilises sustainable employment.
Whereas the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year award recognises the work of those who run small businesses with under 50 employees.
Gareth certainly isn’t one to seek the limelight but as a team we wanted him to enter the awards. When he started Liberty back in 2008, he made a decision that we would only provide specialist SEO, PPC, content marketing and social digital marketing.
Some questioned why not include web design and development, traditional marketing services and PR but Gareth saw a niche in the market to specialise in these key areas and this decision has helped us gain a reputation as an industry expert that achieves fantastic results for its clients.
Commenting on his experience to date, Gareth said:
“We’ve come a long way in a relatively short time. I’ve been fortunate to work with a very talented team of digital marketing professionals who have given me the confidence to promote our services with the knowledge that we will deliver.“There have been plenty of challenges during our journey but we’ve tackled each one and learned from the experience. I’m very pleased to be shortlisted for the Award and look forward to the ceremony in November.”
As a company that has featured on the WalesOnline’s Fast Growth 50 list and with a founder and MD who has been placed on the 35 Under 35 list multiple times, we believe Gareth is the perfect fit for these awards. Let’s hope the judges agree.
