How we’re supporting Cerebral Palsy Cymru this month 

Here at Liberty, we believe in giving back to the community through our core value, Accountability.

So this August, we’re excited to take part in a charity raffle to support the incredible work of  Cerebral Palsy Cymru, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and families affected by cerebral palsy across Wales. 

What is Cerebral Palsy 

Cerebral palsy is a group of lifelong conditions that affect movement and coordination, caused by a problem with the brain that occurs before, during, or shortly after birth. While every individual with cerebral palsy is unique, common challenges include difficulties with movement, muscle control, posture, and balance. For many, these challenges can also extend to communication and learning. 

Despite these difficulties, people with cerebral palsy can lead fulfilling and active lives, especially with the right support, just like the support by Cerebral Palsy Cymru. 

The charity provides essential services, including specialised therapy, support, and education, tailored to the needs of children and young people with cerebral palsy and their families. 

What we’re doing to support 

We’ve decided to support Cerebral Palsy Cymru this month by selling their Summer Raffle tickets in the office. This has provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone at Liberty to get involved and support a great cause.  Every ticket that was purchased goes directly towards helping Cerebral Palsy Cymru continue their vital work. 

Cerebral Palsy Cymru has been a lifeline for countless families across Wales. Their multidisciplinary team of therapists, educators, and support staff work tirelessly to ensure every child receives the best possible care and opportunities. From early intervention to ongoing support as children grow, their services are designed to help every child reach their full potential.
