The Fresh Print of Lib’s Flair: July’s Round Up
This is a Story All About How, an Agency Got Fit and Head To London Town…

Not that getting fit related in any way shape or form to our regular travels to London this month, but it fit the infamous jingle.
Moving swiftly on…
Things have been heating up this July – both in terms of weather and marketing activities. With the summer sun has come plenty of sales and networking events, copious company adventures, and the arrival of new faces too (plus, a ridiculous amounts of ice lollies, of course).
#1 We Joined the Tough Mudder Nation

If you read our June update, you’ll know our dedicated ‘athletes’ have been taking part in gruelling weekly personal training sessions in a bid to get super strong and ready to tackle a number of obstacle courses.
Last month there was the Spartan Race, then in July there was Tough Mudder. Much more of a ‘fun run’ compared to the previous event, everyone really enjoyed and came out, surprisingly, not that muddy. And, although there may be some aches and pains after all of this physical activity, everyone is feeling jacked and we’ve even committed to another twelve-week stint of Liberty bootcamp. Wish us luck!
#2 Quarterly Company Meeting (+ PIZZA!)
At Liberty, we like to keep everyone ‘in the know’, so make sure to have regular company-wide meetings to update the teams on everything from client prospects and agency revenue targets to staffing changes and upcoming events.
It was great to hear that there are exciting things to come, big plans in the works, and we continue to secure sound results for our clients. And, of course, we do love a spread. This time, we went LARGE with a massive Domino’s order. Which may not have been wise a couple of hours before a gruelling Liberty bootcamp session…
#3 We Welcome Another New Starter – Hey, Alex!
The Liberty family is one member stronger as we’ve said hello to a new Senior SEO Specialist, Alex Dewey.

Alex has worked in SEO since 2013, spending most of his time in-house doing everything from development and optimisation to content creation and outreach, so will make a great addition to our growing team. Of course, he was welcomed in true Liberty style with a ‘get to know you’ lunch out with some of the team. The remainder of us left at the office on this particularly sunny lunchtime weren’t jealous or bitter… Honest…
#4 Client Relationship Manager Mari Head to Google’s Retail Summit

Thanks to our strong relationship with Google, we frequently get invited to their offices in London or to events they’re running across the UK, and we couldn’t miss the Retail Summit this July.
One of our Client Relationship Managers, Mari, headed down to the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, where she met one of our clients for a day of eCommerce innovation, including talks on consumer trends, seasonality, and Smart Solutions. It was a great day for all involved and Mari even won a laptop bag in their advent calendar-style giveaway.
#5 We Enjoy a Talk, So Thoroughly Enjoyed the Digital Marketing Conference
London is like a second home for much of our team. Whether that’s due to prospecting meetings or partaking in conferences and events. In July, one trip involved heading down to a conference held by Figaro Digital at the Emirates Stadium.
Although we weren’t presenting this time, it provided us with a great opportunity to sit down and chat with a dozen brands 1-2-1 to really get to the nitty-gritty of their needs, wants, and how we could help them achieve these.
Our team have a wealth of specialist knowledge and we’re always keen to share it, where we can.
