Liberty Supports the Movember Foundation
There was a bit more swagger than usual in the Liberty office this morning.
Some of the men seemed to stand a little taller, and their shoulders a little broader. For the fourth year in a row, the team at Liberty have been boosted by the power of the MO.
We’re extremely proud to support the Movember Foundation, and this year it’s extra special as our very own Marketing Manager, Paul Hunter has been selected to be a Movember Community Ambassador. This November, he’ll be travelling around spreading the word about the great work that the Movember Foundation do with Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Mental Health.
“I’m extremely honoured to be selected as a Movember Ambassador this year. I’m excited to spread awareness for Men’s Health and help raise some much-needed funds that all goes towards the many programs that Movember run to support people going through difficult times and towards research that will one day help eliminate Testicular and Prostate Cancer.
As always, I’m taken aback with the support I have received from Liberty and can’t wait to get everyone involved with a few events this year. We really are helping change the face of men’s health.”
Paul’s journey with Movember started in 2014, when he was diagnosed with Stage 3 testicular cancer only 5 months after starting at Liberty. After months of chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, he was declared in full remission in 2015 and him and the team have supported the Movember Foundation ever since.
This year we’ll be taking part in the Cardiff Mo Run again (2017 runners pictured below) and will be hosting our own fundraising events throughout the month. If you’d like to support us and help change the face of men’s health, then please consider donating here.
