Liberty’s a Cardiff Business Awards Finalist – Again
It comes with great pleasure for us to reveal we’ve been shortlisted for not one, but two more honours.
That’s right – Liberty is a Cardiff Business Awards 2016 finalist for Creative and Digital Business of the Year, while our very own MD, Gareth, is up for Entrepreneur of the Year. [more]
Cardiff Business Awards? What’s All That About?
The Cardiff Business Awards are the only accolades that recognise the organisations and individuals who are putting Cardiff on the map. These nominees help ensure our beloved Welsh capital remains at the forefront of economic growth and is the best it can be.
The winners will be revealed in a glamorous ceremony at the iconic City Hall on June 24, with BBC Wales’ presenter Jamie Owen at the wheel as compere. Ours is a spiced rum, Jamie.
What Are the Judges Saying?
The Cardiff Business Awards judging panel is formed from a trusty trio: Bristol Business School’s Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, Head of Economic Development at Cardiff Council, Ken Poole, and Business Development Director for Natwest, Rhys Williams.
Chairman of the judging panel, Prof Jones-Evans told WalesOnline,
“The standard of entries this year has been of the highest quality, and those companies and individuals who feature on the shortlist have demonstrated their ability to more than exceed any expectations.“Cardiff is not only Wales’ capital city, it is also home to some of the most exciting, innovative and ambitious companies in the UK. If the high standard of entries that the awards received this year is any indicator of the rest of the capital’s business community, Cardiff’s future as a thriving and progressive local economy looks to be secure.”
We couldn’t agree more, Dylan.
Good Luck to All
We’d like to wish all the other finalists the warmest of congratulations and huge luck for the awards ceremony in a few weeks’ time. We’ll see you at the bar.
