Liberty’s Lads Grow Their ‘Mo’ This Movember

Something has happened to the men of Liberty. They walked in this morning with a stronger gait, their chests puffed out more than usual and the same look of striking determination written across their faces. It is, of course, because they’ve braved the shave and are growing their ‘mo’ for Movember.

Why Are We Taking Part?

The Movember Foundation is a charity close to our hearts. Two years ago Liberty’s Paul Hunter – a man as popular as his FIFA playing is erratic – was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer at the tender age of 25. Happily, after months of tough treatment at Heath Hospital and Velindre Cancer Centre, he went into remission.

Paul shared his story, and explained how Cancer had changed his life at Cardiff Ignite last year.

What Are We Doing?

We want to raise £1,000 for the Movember foundation, so we’re pulling out all the stops to make that happen.

Huge swathes of the Liberty team are running the Movember 5k on Sunday 13th November. Some of the team would find it difficult to drive 5K let alone run it, but they’re still going to give everything they’ve got to help raise money for this worthy cause.

We’re also organising two fundraising nights in November to add to the pot. Keep your eye out on our Twitter page for more information.

Please Help Us Help Others

We’re supporting Movember so that more men like Paul get the support and help they need, when they really need it. The world’s a better place with them here.
Please consider donating to our fundraising page. Donate a penny, or donate a grand. Either way we’re bloody grateful.

We’re proud to be an official Premier Google Partner.
