How we grew a major food brand by 969% year on year
Food and Publishing Industry
Love Pork, a website owned by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) represents English farmers, growers, and others in the supply chain.
The Challenge
Despite investing heavily in OTL advertising, Love Pork had a muted digital presence.
Aiming to provide recipe inspiration and education to rejuvenate the image of pork, AHDB knew they needed to be visible online. However, they needed a strategy to achieve it.
Our objective was clear: make Love Pork more visible in search results and get more users viewing and interacting with the brand online.
Our Approach
We audited the marketplace and Love Pork’s website to shape our strategy.
We discovered that competitors ranked well for high-volume recipe collection pages, while Love Pork had were doing nothing to meet this lucrative search demand.
We knew that creating engaging, comprehensive collection pages woud help us challenge big name brands such as BBC Good Food.
Our new collection pages allowed Love Pork to be relevant for high-volume search terms, but they also gave us a location where these powerful links could be redirected.
The Results
After 12 months, we were able to report some serious growth.
