HR and Operations Assistant

- Reports to: HR Manager
- Experience Required: 2yrs min
- Employment Type: Part-time
- Holiday Entitlement: 22 days + Birthday
- Hours: 24hrs per week
- Probationary Period: 6 months
The HR and Operations Assistant will support the HR Manager in ensuring that a People First approach is maintained and prioritised in the business.
As an HR and Operations Assistant, you will work collaboratively with the HR Manager and the wider management team to support and improve the overall employee experience, well-being and happiness.
You will assist in the recruitment of new employees which could include posting positions via job boards and handling responses or liaising with recruitment agencies where appropriate. Assisting in or developing job descriptions and person specifications, shortlisting, assisting in the interview and selection of candidates; administering new employee contracts and conducting and recording checks of passports, driving licences etc. You will be involved in various other administrative tasks such as processing absence reports, promotion and salary change letters.
